High Tea – So dreamy…

This is my 2nd time at Maitre Chocolatier. The experience did not change at all.

They have different sets of teacups. This time I had the red one.

I love high tea. Just enjoying tea and having some nonchalant conversation.

May I add they have a band, playing purely classical music at the corner. Just perfect. All your worries are put away once you step your foot into Maitre Chocolatier.

I want to also add that the servers/host(ess)s both have super sexy French accent. I loooove.

This place offers all kinds of tea that you can choose once you sit. Some are rather ordinary. Some are more interesting.

 The tray of dainty food.

How to eat: we start from the bottom to the top.

Raisin Scone with some honey and cream spreading.
Personally. I only like their scones…mostly because of the honey spreading that i find so delicious! The other trays have nothing special to write about other than dainty presentation.
Maitre Chocolatier is a great way to experience the British High Tea. However, there are other places that are more “impressive” *cough* Hong Kong * cough*
The price really doesn’t justify the experience and the food you are getting.
I think this place is only worth a try with the online coupons ($29 for 2 people, instead of i think $64 for 2 people…)

  • I can’t agree with you more! Sipping some tea and having a nice casual convo with some good friends is the way to spend a day. Wish I had more time to do that. This place looks amazing. If you ever come to NYC, Alice’s Teacup is very good too.
