A popular destination to have brunch in Quebec city is Le Cochon Dingue. It actually has more than one location in Quebec City and they are all packed! We had our brunch at 2 in the afternoon and we still needed to wait 15 minutes.
So-Cho artisan sausage plate
Each sausage had different fillings. One had bacon and cheddar. And the other one had cranberry, brie cheese and maple. They all tasted unique, especially the cranberry one.
The delicious One.
This was one decadent dish, perfect for those like me having a hard time to choose between sweet or salty. It was a crepe stuffed with duck meat, leek, onions and hollandaise sauce. And to balance out the heavy centrepiece, the cranberry French toast was so moist, simply buttery delicious.
Because Mr.Butter’s dish lacked a dessert, he ordered a creme brule. The presentation was nice as they lighted it up right in front of me. A simple entertainment for a few seconds. It was a satisfying dessert to end the meal.
Le Cochon Dingue is a great place to have brunch. Its charming decor can easily lift anyone’s mood. An ideal place to rest and fill the stomach before resuming the rest of the day’s activities in Quebec city.
