The most exciting part of a training from work is free food. I was huffing and puffing in excitement when I learned that I can order anything and as much as I want! But of course, I have manners…especially in an up-scale restaurant such as Modus.
The price was quite steep at Modus so I had great expectation. The staff was incredibly attentive and entertaining.
Modus specializes in Italian cuisine and I had Zuppa Di Pesce, which was basically a dish filled with all kinds of seafood. Lobster, tiger shrimp, scallop, fish, mussels, you name it. They were perfectly cooked, but I wished the soup could be more rich.
The dessert was quite a killer, Blueberry maple cheesecake. According to the staff, it is the most popular dessert and I can understand why.
Modus is a nice place for dates, but to go on a weekly basis, your wallet will become light instantly.
