Porto Vino: What has changed?

Porto Vino: What has changed?

In between my last review about Porto Vino in 2012, I re-visited that place numerous of times. After almost 3 years, I had thought that a follow-up would be good. I went back for brunch recently and what had changed? Not much…

Still 30$ per person for a brunch buffet. And the buffet is essentially the same things as before. But I still think it is a great place to enjoy their crazy good flambe waffle, pancake and crepe if you are a fanatic like me! 30$ is quite a hefty price for just that, but let me tell you, I sat there from the beginning to the finishing hours of the brunch. Yes, 10 am to 2 pm, not a dull moment of inhaling food. And that completed my whole day of food consumption. Quite a sweet deal, I must say!

Delicious flambe crepe with fruits (waffle on the other dish). And a bit of cold cuts…

The chef in station cooking the crazy good flambe crepe up to my taste!

Seafood seafood seafood! Snow crab legs, hell yeah!

No one can beat my dish pairing. Oysters …and omelette cooked by the chef with the my chosen ingredients. The oysters weren’t fresh this time around. What a let down.

My specialty in buffet is a bit of everything!

Second round – not! This was probably my fourth round of flambe crepe/waffle/pancake. I could not resist.

To end the meal beautifully, I had desserts. Honestly, the desserts were never great, but curiosity couldn’t rest. So I just had to taste a bit of everything.
