With our extreme cold weather here, it’s no surprise that we have dry skin! I’m especially prone to dry skin and in my previous skin care review, I’ve talked about my acne prone skin when my skin is dry! Therefore, to prevent acne, I need a great moisturiser!
Good news! I have discovered an incredible gooooood moisturiser! Actually, this cream is no stranger to many. It has great ratings over makeup alley! Which one I am talking about?
SHISEIDO BIO-PERFORMANCE ADVANCED SUPER REVITALIZING CREAM
Omg…products these days…with their unreasonably long names.
This cream is truly wonderful! No more blotchy skin – I used to wear tinted moisturiser to cover my leftover acne spots, but with my dry skin, my skin would soon appear flaky. Not a good sight! But with shiseido’s Bio-performance advanced super revitalizing cream, it’s not a problem!
To be honest, combining with Shu Uemura’s serum (click here to see review) and this Shiseido cream, I have almost to 0 acne problem – except those random hormonal fluctuations…. And if i do, it’s those little zits easy to get rid of! It’s not like the past where the acne would never go away, deep in the layer of the skin, because of the excess sebum secretion due to dry skin and trapping under the dry skin.
Ah, how I am sooo grateful to have found these 2 amazing products!
Although the pricetag is hefty, I can overlook it as it works wonders to me!

I usually put it on in the morning. I use about a pea size amount. If i feel incredible generous that day or that I feel my skin is crying for help, I would use a pearl size amount. Some people might not like this cream as it is very heavy. It is not light at all. It will leave a sticky feeling for quite some time. But I think that is how they help my skin keeps its hydration. The aqua gel type moisturiser dries out waaaay too quickly so it doesn’t help my skin at all. Therefore, make sure your skin is really dry type if not, i don’t think the results would turn out as impressive as mine.
Test it out at the counter!
