With an hour left before the concert starts, we were in a rush to find the fastest restaurant around the area. We spotted Bapbo, a Korean restaurant and within 40 minutes, we had our food, settled the bill, and left to enjoy the show.
The restaurant that really impressed me with seafood was Kitchen Galerie Poisson. Sadly, it closed down. Since then, I couldn’t find a noteworthy candidate until as of late.
Les 400 coups was one of my most awaited restaurant to try for MTL a Table event (It was a tie with Van Horne, but sadly Van Horne closed this year). I waited for 3 years! And to make it more memorable, I ate there on Halloween and I guess I was not the only one having such a brilliant idea!
Centrale Bergham offers a menu very different from the typical fast food. Yes, it comes with fries, but it is not a burger! It is a hybrid of pita and submarine buns stuffed with generous portion of protein.
They are good, affordable and great to replenish an empty stomach.
Le Bergham – 3 patties, egg, bacon and cheese
Le Rouge – Tandoori chicken with cheese
The most exciting part of a training from work is free food. I was huffing and puffing in excitement when I learned that I can order anything and as much as I want! But of course, I have manners…especially in an up-scale restaurant such as Modus.
