Bringing my mother to a restaurant is always a challenge, especially when it is for her birthday. She has high standards so I need a flawless restaurant.
Salmigondis has been on my radar while surfing on instagram. The pictures were fantastic. After asking around for opinions about Salmigondis, I was determined that Salmigondis would meet all my expectations.
After a recent of review about Mandy’s, I was told that Green Cafe serves just as a good salad if not, better.
I was curious and we cannot deny that Mandy’s salad is on the expensive side. If I can have a just as great salad offered at a lower price, why wouldn’t I?
Ramen scene just got real in Montreal! Schlouppe Bistrot Nakamichi opened its doors in January 2016 and is bringing their ramen recipe straight from Japan.
If observed diligently, there is “est. 1956” written on their window. But wait, I thought this is new? Then, the waitress explained that the chef worked at Nakamichi in Japan and told the original owner that he would bring it to oversea. And here it is, being realized!
So just how does it taste like?
Kinka Family strikes again! They brought in their izakya from Toronto in late 2014. This time around, they are bringing in another restaurant to Montreal from their Toronto playground. Ramen, yes! Kinton Ramen. Coming soon in 2016. I am very excited!
While waiting for that date to come, I was invited to try their tasting menu.
Before reading on, did you know that I went to Kinka 2 times before already and it is even on my 2015 restaurant list! Here are the links:
It’s winter and what am I thinking about to be reviewing a salad place? Because it’s always a good time to have Mandy’s salad.
