I never understood the hype behind Portuguese chicken, especially when I tried Romados (not that impressed, but I blame my commute, where I had decided to bring it all the way to the South Shore before consumption) and found nothing special.
My sis was back for a visit, and obviously she needed her poutine fix. I wanted to bring her somewhere new, but with decent poutine. Mr.Butter suggested Ma Poule Mouillee. I was reluctant and confused. I asked for poutine, not some freaking chicken! So I searched online and learned that they served one solid poutine! I have to see this!
So the journey of oversize meals begin…
With a great brunch experience at 3734, I raved about it to my colleagues. Curiosity was so strong, that they’ve decided to lunch there on a workday (oops, 2 hours lunch – hey, it was a Friday!).

My first trou de beigne was at Le Cheese . There was no choice, just the maple bacon one.
This time, Mr.Butter ordered a dozen with every available flavour. I was ecstatic! Perfect timing for my family paying a visit that day!

Pho MyMy is located right beside Marche Centrale. Their parking lot is quite tiny so big cars are really not suggested.
I’ve heard of Pho MyMy last summer (wow already a year!) and thought I would have the chance to slurp the noodles when winter comes (but I guess no occassion ever came). Their Bun Boe Hue is their signature or so I heard. Knowing spicy dishes appeal to me, I had to add it to my list to try.
