Shu Uemura Depsea hydrability moisturizing emulsion is a milky liquid lotion.
Shu Uemura Depsea hydrability alnight quench micro-retexturizing SOS moisture essence is a night serum.
Purchased these over a year and I was using them sparingly. I only started to use them religiously in mid-summer. Now that the serum is at its end of its life and the lotion has about one more month to go, I think I can adequately assess its effectiveness.
When used in conjunction, these 2 products leave my skin hydrated and have much controlled my acne appearance, even after being back to work full-time.
Although these products do not leave any trace of greasy film, the serum is somewhat sticky but the lotion fixes that problem once it is applied over the serum. The skin absorbs these products very quickly.
I don’t think they are moisturizing enough for harsh winter, especially my skin tend to have dry patches. But they are definitely great for any other season.
The chance of repurchasing these products are high if I fail to find cheaper alternatives, especially if the alternatives will trigger acne again.
Overall, I enjoy them but wish they are more budget friendly.
